I graduated with honors from Eastern Michigan University 2005, with a BA in Art History and Fine Art. I am a wife and mother of three, Finn, Alice and Kellan. My family and I live in Ypsilanti, MI. I am a free lance artist and designer, as well as the Marketing and Communications Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washtenaw County.
As a third generation artist, I have always been a  student of Art & Art History. My love and knowledge of Art History means I am capable of working in many styles and in many mediums. However, I am most prominently influenced by vintage poster art, comics and pop culture. I have a bright lively design style, with a strong sense for color and composition. My work is almost always figurative, and comes from a desire to tell a story.  Everyone has a story, and we can only truly understand each other when that story has been told. I believe that visual art's capacity to tell a complex story in a moments glance, gives it a unique ability to communicate across divides and bring people together.
